Easter family photos

Last Saturday I was lucky enough to leave the kids at home with hubby and enjoy an afternoon of scrapping with my dear friend Ainslee. It was so relaxing to sit and chat with her and I even got a couple of pages done! This one uses a rare family photo which was taken by my BIL on Easter day. I love it, even if Will was being very unco-operative and Lizzy didn't care to look! Doesn't matter!

This one is the group shot of all the Canberra cousins. I am so happy to finally have a photo with every one of them there! Lotsof little personalities shining through! A couple of tongues poking out cheekily (one showing off her tongue-rolling capabilities!) another little man on the verge of a major meltdown after a long morning of egg collecting, and plenty of beautiful big smiles! 10 precious kids!

And this one...just because she's a cutie and she just smiles. Always. Even when we've had a rough night, she still, somehow, wakes up with this enormous big grin, like she's totally forgotten that her sleep was broken, oh, about 10 times during the night. Love her to bits!

Soph, 'Spaceman Toast" comes out of a Donna Hay kids recipe book, and it's super easy, I'm pretty sure your mum will let you help make this one! You grab a gingerbread man cookie cutter and cut out a man from a slice of bread. Throw some butter in a hot frypan and toast one side of your bread. Flip it and crack an egg in the middle of the man. It should cook so it looks like a spaceman with a white head, arms and legs and a round yellow yolk belly. Beccy loves it, and she's never been a kid that would eat eggs. It's all in the presentation, huh! Well, that and the fact that she can do most of it herself!

Have a great week!

Oh what a great idea with the gingerbread cookie cutter and how cute are both those layouts, the cousins, you did so well to get one, and avoid a photo meltdown lol. Gorgeous work as you do so well. Melxx
