Happy 5 Will!

Will turned 5 this week! The night before his birthday I asked him what he might like as a present. He had a good think, then his little eyes lit up and he beamed at me excitedly and said "Maybe a balloon!" Bec and I laughed so hard!

This year he got.....

Some Zac Power books

Hot Wheels "Wall Tracks." We think these will be a big hit since he loves anything that goes on a track.

Phone calls from Nan and Pop, Gran and Pop, Aunty Lisa + the kids and Aunty Suze. This one is when Gran and Pop were singing happy birthday on the phone to him - it's their birthday tradition!

He also got some Lego

Since it's school holidays he got to choose what we did for the day. So we went to the pool, even though it was cold and raining. Then we came home for Lizzy's sleep and he and Bec played Wii. He says this is cycling. Apparently it helps if you lean over when you go round the corner ;)

Daddy came home a bit early from work and we our Canberra family around for afternoon tea and birthday cake.

The kids thought it was hilarious to blow the candles before they were all lit!

It was Will's choice for dinner. He chose pies and mashed vegies.

After dinner we all had a play of his present from Gran and Pop - a Leap Pad globe to feed his current geography obsession!

Finally, a snuggle in mum and dad's bed while we read a Zac Power book, then off to bed after a very happy day!
