"Thomas train - on?"

William has officially discovered Thomas and he is full of Thomas love. He has played trains for about 2 hours every single day for the last 3 weeks. The train track runs all over the floor and makes cleaning rather difficult, but both he and Bec are having so much fun, so it doesn't matter. They are getting lots better at sorting out the logistics of running several trains of varying speeds and are learning to recover after the inevitable derailments without help from mum or dad (thank goodness). Will is so cute with the little engines, he talks to them and greets them hello and waves them goodbye.

And this one's of Becca, just to remember how we talk about the words from one of Justine Clark's (from playschool) songs about being cheerful and happy. It works a treat, especially in shopping centres where just whispering the words "give your smile to someone" instantly transforms her sad or grumpy face into a happy smiling face. And her radiance is always rewarded with lovely comments or returned smiles from strangers we pass by. And that makes my little girl happy, which makes me happy too :)
